Positive: Free private parking
Positive: Shower didn’t drain, A/C didn’t turn on until I had to go to reception, design of room was bizarre
Positive: absolutely lovely hotel. let us drop our bags off early so we could go to Pompeii and the. check back in later in the day. great bar. nice breakfast and very comfy beds.
Negative: location is about 20 min walk from back of Napoli main train garibaldi station. it’s a bit rough and ready area so we were shocked when we got to the hotel and it was so nice. they do run a shuttle in the evenings and we used this to come back in the evening after dinner and it was free and we felt a bit safer. I think they should run a couple of shuttles in the morning to the station and then the center and couple back at 2pm and 3pm if they wanted to make improvements. I would consider staying here again then as it was really good value for money.
Positive: Very quiet and clean
Negative: Far from the city center you have to take the metro
Positive: This was a very modern and clean hotel. Staff drinks and food were excellent. Very helpful with special requests. Only downside is that is a bit out of the way but this is easily solved by taxi svc.
Negative: Just not close to water and restaurants.
Positive: breakfast, hotel's lobby.
Negative: on-site restaurant sucks. Dishes listed on room menu is a fake / trap, items available in restaurant is completely different. it's expensive and food tastes sucks. It's was hot, but no air condition, told to open windows, but lots of insects flied in.
Positive: The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fabulous. The room was a great size and very comfortable. The parking was great and a huge plus. I would recommend this hotel for sure.
Negative: The hotel is not very close to downtown itself by waking and you need to take the metro/ bus to get to the focal points of the city. With that said, the trade off was having a safe and comfortable place to park. The noise was a bit of an issue as our room was the first room going up the stairs on the first floor and we could hear everything taking place in the lobby and the noise from the outside courtyard where people sit out to smoke. Other than that it was great!
Positive: The food was the best part of it. The dinner in the restaurant was great, good portions with local products, good wine. It was a one train away of the central station. The room was good enough. Free parking.
Negative: I didn't feel welcome by a few employees. The building is really lacking some maintenance. The gym room is not comfortable. The terrace has no furniture. I am not sure how much this hotel can be really considered a 4 star accommodation.
Positive: The hotel was not in the best area to begin with. Staff was not very welcoming or friendly at the front desk or in the restaurant. The restaurant was unsanitary and the food was not good at all. We also had an issue with the taxi called by the front desk. They called us a taxi and the taxi company scammed us out of $100 and claimed the hotel didn’t explain it to us correctly. I found that completely ridiculous that the hotel would associate with drivers that would scam tourists. Recommend staying somewhere else in Naples.
