The Helvetia Hotel in Venezia Lido is located on the main street of the Island of Lido. The advantages of staying on the Island of Lido and especially Hotel Helvetia outweigh by far the hassle of taking the Vaporetto boat: prices are much lower, it is the only island that allows cars and mopeds, there are some fine sandy beaches, and last but not least, the only Golf Course in Venice. Not to mention of course, the world-famous Venice Film Festival, taking place in September. At the charming 3-star Hotel Helvetia in Venice, guests will also discover its friendly, multilingual staff available 24 hours to help them book tours, suggest restaurants and cater to any request. This Venezia Lido accommodation moreover offers a private car park, beach cabin hire, laundry and ironing service, babysitting service, as well as an American Bar, a sumptuous garden, and an inside lounge area.

How to arrive
The hotel is superbly located on the main street of the Lido island. The Vaporetto stop is located 1 minute away and in 10 minutes guests can reach Piazza San Marco, the main square in Venice. Santa Lucia railway station is around 5 km from the hotel. Marco Polo International Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 10 km and Treviso Airport is roughly 40 km away.
From Piazzale Roma or Santa Lucia railway station, take boat lines 1, 2, 51, 61 to Lido. From the Tronchetto car park a ferry boat leaves every hour. From Piazza San Marco take boats 1, 2 and 51. The travel time is 10 minutes. From Venice Marco Polo Airport guests may take the Alilaguna shuttle boats.
