Situated right in the heart of Viseu old town, this hotel is a building of great architectural and historical-cultural value and is part of one of the seven doors of the old Afonsina city walls, Porta de Soar de Cima. The hotel's immediate vicinity includes various restaurants, bars and nightspots. Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is some 130 km away.
From the airport follow on to the Eastern Distributor. Near toll booths select City North lane. After paying toll take the Macquarie street exit. At the top of the rise off the exit, will see the State Library on your left and the Royal Botanic Gardens on your right, and a set of traffic lights. Proceed through lights across Macquarie street, and into Bent street. Proceed through next set of lights at Phillip street and take the next left into Bligh street (the 3rd set of lights since the toll booth). Hotel's car park will be on left hand side (approx 100 metres).
