How to arrive
By car
-Arriving from the C-32, take the exit for Lloret de Mar, which takes guests through Palafolls, then Blanes and before arriving in Lloret de Mar follow the signs for the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay and barely even left the property! A wonderful place for any occasion! Beautiful surroundings clean and quiet. Peaceful and beautiful! We can not wait to go Back!

Positive: Our family was lucky to discover this hotel during our road trip. Kind and helpful hotel staff, breathtaking and mesmerizing seaside view that captures the very essence of the Costa Brava coastline, the hotel itself and our room is modern yet has character of traditional Spanish architecture, full-filling gourmet dinner and breakfast buffet, we got a good nights rest hearing the calming ocean waves. Our family would like to thank everyone at the Santa Marta Hotel, hopefully we get a chance to visit again soon!
Positive: The landscape was amazing, staff amazing, all in all a 10/10 stay.
Negative: The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the renovations they were doing to the outdoor pool and lounge area. It would have been good to know ahead of time that those amenities were not available.
Positive: I loved the location, the room was very comfortable with spectacular views. The beach is breathtaking. The staff was always helpful, gracious and accommodating.
Negative: There is a big renovation happening in the pool area. We didn’t have any access to that since basically is a construction site. The construction was from Monday to Saturday, starting at 8:00 am. We couldn’t be in our balcony without hearing drilling, cement sawing, a full display construction site. 🏗️ Thanks to this construction the access to the beach was a little inconvenient. Either you’d have to take a van down to the beach or walk through an annoying and steep dirt road. The fact that we didn’t have access to the pool is fine, but I wish they should have informed us prior to our stay that this was happening, and they should make a discount on the night rate reflecting the inconvenience.
Positive: We enjoyed the beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony every morning and evening. The location in Lloret de Mar was quiet, convenient and secluded.
Negative: NOTE - the pool and beach club is under construction currently. While there is still beach access, it is not so glamorous. You can walk or drive down a dirt road with steep incline. Transparency about this by the hotel would have been appreciated greatly. Also note, the location is quiet and secluded, but it involves going up and down a set of switchbacks on dirt road to get to the hotel. Hotel is somewhat updated, but definitely dated and older. The shower would get hot (scalding hot!) and then cold randomly while using without adjusting the temperature whatsoever. Overall, not sure if it was just off season funk, but we felt the staff were nice enough, but I wouldn't say they went above and beyond in service. As an example, we were celebrating our honeymoon as a lesbian couple. The hotel sent us a bottle of Cava which was lovely! But unfortunately the note was addressed as Mr and Mrs Butler, a clear oversight. Net-net, not the worst hotel but I am not going to stay again. We made the most of it.

Positive: Everything about this room was exceptional. The bed, the bathroom, the deck, all the amenities. It was more luxurious than I expected. Not to mention the bottle of Cava and delicious cookies for our 30th Anniversary! Courteous 5 star staff! We enjoyed the private beach and the water treatment at the Spa. And a romantic and delicious dinner at 58. And the view from our Ocean front room? Like a scene from movie. Breathtaking. This hotel was the perfect ending to our Spain trip!
Negative: A few minor issues.. I loved sitting out on the deck but we were next to a chain smoker...so it was like we were chain smoking too. Bummer but we understand it's a different culture. Also couldn't seem to work the air conditioner. Would.it be possible to have luggage racks? And this is something we noticed through Spain..no washcloths! Would have loved washcloths!

Positive: Fantastic sweeping views of the coast, every detail throughout the hotel thought through from arrival goodies and water to decor to room details. We loved the beachside chairs and pool deck, breakfast at the hotel was fantastic and the bed and room were very comfortable
Negative: The internet was slow at times.
Positive: Pool areas, beach, poolside restaurant, dinner by the beach, overall small feel of hotel, hotel staff, parking onsite, shuttle to and from beach, overall many positives.
Negative: Bathrooms are dated and in serious need of a renovation. Breakfast was always full and there was a wait time. Larger tables outside were impossible to get without a long wait.
