Violet Cruise ? Heritage Line is a Vietnamese Junk which sails along Halong Bay

Day 1
- Check-in on-board and set sail along Halong Bay
- A buffet lunch will be served shortly after check-in
- Pass through picturesque areas like the Mat Quy islets
- Visit to the ancient Tien Ong Cave, formed out of ancient limestone karsts
- Voyage continues towards Cua Van Fishing Village, the biggest and oldest fishing village in Halong Bay via a boat ride
Guests will pass by this ancient village made up of floating houses
and floating schools
- Return to the boat in the late afternoon for a cooking demonstration conducted by a professional chef
- As the sun sets, guests can enjoy a drink on the sundeck or relax in their rooms
- At 19:00, guests can attend a presentation held in the restaurant area about the history of Halong Bay, just before dinner is served
Day 2
- All guests will embark on the day boat ? The Sunset
The day boat will begin cruising along Lan Ha Bay
2 Options are available depending on weather conditions
Option A (good weather conditions)
- On-board The Sunset, guests can enjoy breakfast in the cosy restaurant
- Guests can cycle along the coast line of Cat Ba or through the rainforest to the Viet Ha Village
- The journey continues to a local primary school (Violet Cruise - Heritage Line supports this school with teaching equipment)
- After this, guests can cycle back to the day boat
The cruise continues towards Ho Ba Ham
- Lunch is served on-board
At this secluded area guests kayak through water tunnels and close to stunning rock and islets
- The boat sails towards a secluded lagoon where guests can indulge in water activities like diving, swimming and snorkeling
Option B (poor weather conditions)
- Guests can indulge in kayaking or swimming at the Hai Quan Lagoon
- The boat then sets sail towards Surprise Cave and lunch is served
- In the afternoon, The Sunset cruises back via several scenic sights along Halong Bay
These include Cua Van Fishing Village, Soi Sim, Dau Xuoi Channel and Toad Islet
For guests who prefer not want to go cycling at Viet Hai Village: a relaxing spa treatment can be enjoyed on-board instead
Day 3
- At 07:00, a Tai Chi Class is conducted on the sundeck
- Breakfast, including coffee, tea and pastries is served at the restaurant
- A cruise will dock along a white stretch of beach where guests can go for a swim
- Upon returining, the cruise will set sail back to Halong City, passing by picturesque areas like the Ti Top Island, Tam Cung Cave and Poem Mountain
- A buffet lunch is served on-board
- Guests arrive back at Tuan Chau Pier at approximately 11:00
