Andersen Hotel Description

The hotel serves breakfast only, in a room adjoining the lobby. It is a large, open planned room with classic white tables and chairs throughout, and nature-influenced colours helping create a cosy and relaxing space.

It is a traditional red brick building with uniformed rectangular and arched windows and very typical of Copenhagen.

The reception area is deceptively spacious as the lobby and breakfast dining area is open planned. There is a black marbled check-in desk which greets guests on arrival while to the right is a small area of soft seating and a large plasma screen tv which is used to screen large sporting events. An Internet point is also available.

Currently undergoing extensive renovation and re-design work, Selandia will re-open in April 2012 as a modern, trendy 3* hotel in an excellent location.

The standard rooms are newly renovated and offer a very cosy and warm environment. All rooms are small to medium in size and are carpeted and designed with thick and bold textiles, but the light-coloured walls tone down the rooms. Included in the rooms are trouser presses and in some refrigerators. Bathrooms are compact but in good condition.
