Positive: Staff was phenomenal throughout our entire stay. From the time we entered the property until the time we left everyone that engaged us went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and assist with any and all of our needs. Property was well kept up, the shower space was incredible, swimming pool had a group of monkeys in the trees that afternoon while we were swimming, which enhanced the entire surroundings. Can't miss the warm cashews with the chili and garlic served by the pool, drinks were all well prepared! Was just an overall 10/10 experience.
Positive: Big rooms, huge shower. Good rooms and clean. Good cocktail/drinks selection and good food a la carte. Friendly personnel in the bar. Very big pool with warm water, pool bar, many spaces to lay. The beach is close where you can walk, but no swimming allowed. Very close to the Yala block 1, about 10 minute drive. Lots of animals around, we saw elephant, monkeys, cows,lizards.
Negative: When we arrived the reception lady who was walking us to the room stopped in the middle of the way and asked if we can just walk ourselves as she is tired. Poor service for a 5 star. When we arrived in the room, it was full of mold on the wall next to the bed. This reception lady said that it is nothing and there is no mold. The smell was horrible of mold, and after demanding to speak to the manager they did change it to the normal room. There is literally nothing around, and if you want extra water - it’s 900 LKR per bottle. The transfer price back to Colombo if you are going, is about 250 USD, so be aware.
Positive: Room was spacious, bathroom was huge, pool was fabulous and the welcoming staff was great along with the other staff members. Food was excellent. Overall a great experience
Negative: Not much. Maybe the rooms can be equipped with USB charging ports.
Positive: Stunning architectural hotel. One of the best pools in the world. Friendly staff. We mostly ate at the bar as it was open all hours.
Negative: The coffee was undrinkable! No muesli or granola either.
Positive: I loved the experience of being in the hands of mother nature, in the middle of the forest. In addition the food was exceptional. wonderful beach.

Negative: The hotel is good for a short stay to go to the safari, but realistically it’s a 4 star hotel. Not 5 stars as advertised. It feels like it needs a little bit of love to freshen it up. The staff are very friendly but service is a little chaotic. WiFi is terrible.
Positive: Our room was enormous and the bathroom, something to talk about! The breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious, allowing us to try all the local Sri Lankan food. The beach was beautiful as well as the pool!
Negative: The room was not set up for 3 of us, as we had requested. For a beautiful room, there were no hooks for clothes in the bathroom. The staff did not share about the local food only available at the buffet, so we didn't realize how great it was until our last day.

Negative: The location is good but there are too many developments so not very many animals come to the facility. Bathrooms are clean but lighting is minimal.
Positive: Beautiful place and staff
Positive: The stay was really pleasant. The staff was super friendly and protective. They always taking care of us and our vehicles from wildlife. Our Deluxe double room was simply splendid with more space and really great view of the ocean. The food was really superb, there was a really wide selection of food and desserts.
Negative: A very little annoyance was we couldn’t plug our chargers in bedside wall sockets. But we used the one under the table and the one reserved for electric kettle. So no worries there!

Negative: The staff were extremely lousy. Poor service in terms of room service. Breakfast was extremely sad. The transport provided for transfers was pathetic and dirty with no seat belts. Extremely disappointed
Positive: Ocean front property with easy access to the beach. It was nice. Big deck area to relax.
Negative: Rooms were average in terms of quality of finish.
Positive: Everything was excellent, we had an amazing relaxing stay and we will definitely visit again! The restaurant and the pool area are highlights for us!
