The French dining room serves French cuisine, and is of very high standard, both in regards to the food and the ambience. The other restaurant serves a Swedish buffet smorgasbord and the food is excellent. It has a stunning view overlooking the harbour. The general ambience is business like.
The hotel was built at the end of the 19th century and the building is representative of the splendour of this era.
The standard 'classic' rooms are small in size and vary in shape. They are in exceptional condition, a blend of modern and antique furnishings and a combination of elegance. The bathrooms are in very good condition.
