Recently renovated, the Porto Santo Hotel and Spa has 97 rooms ? designed by the architects Eduardo Anahory and Pedro Braamcamp Cid ? and 5 new villas, all equipped with bathroom, air conditioning, telephone, cable TV and balcony. The villas have private garden, 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room with TV, air conditioning, fridge, hairdryer, safe, sitting area and and facilities for making coffee/tea.This hotel includes a restaurant and a bar with a marvellous terrace, a snack-bar by the pool, as well as large gardens, an outdoor swimming pool, children?s pool and tennis.In 2007 a new wing is added, hosting the Spa and the newer villas, with the unique trace of Jo¿o Favila architect. The Spa has massage rooms, relaxing areas, Turkish bath, cold and warm plunges, heated pool, hydromassage, Vichy shower, indoor garden, a gym and hot sand therapy.Also note the laundry service, tourist information point and the private parking.
Breakfast may be selected from a buffet service. Lunch may also be chosen from the menu and the evening meal is available à la carte.
The rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. They consist of an en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Further fittings include a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, air conditioning, tiling, a radio, a balcony or terrace and a hire safe.
The beautiful grounds include many palm trees, a swimming pool with a children's paddling area as well as sun loungers and parasols. In addition, tennis, miniature golf and table tennis can also be played in the hotel grounds. There is an entertainment programme to provide some variation.
