Positive: Great location in the city center
Negative: Super noisy during the night, windows don't isolate properly. Small pool with everyone smoking, quite unpleasant

Negative: Only one small slow elevator to take guests with luggage up and down. Most of the staff were wonderful, but one was not meant to work at a guest relations. We had no hot water for shower one evening after a long day of touring Madrid, and when we informed her, she told me it will not be fixed until the next day. We were not happy and she didn’t even offer help. Later, after several appointments complained, she finally called an after hour maintenance service.

Positive: Our stay at Gran View apartments was quite nice. The rooms were clean and modern. The nice blackout blinds allowed us to enjoy late nights like the Spanish culture and sleep in in the morning. The location is ideal for shopping and restaurants and the metro.

Positive: The back of the building appears to lack adequate insulation, which results in increased exposure to outside noise, especially during the morning hours.

Negative: Elevators did not work and the gym does not open until 8.
Positive: I have been to many different countries and hotels around the world this is literally the worst experience i have had with a hotel.
Negative: First of all we visited Madrid for 3 days only and during those 3 days it was constant trouble with the hotel since the moment we entered. So we entered our room and the ac was not working and its extremely hot in madrid i informed the front desk around 5pm they made us wait till 12 am for a technician to come who doesnt even know how to function the ac to begin with i kept asking for a room change they said we r fully booked around 1 am when i asked for a refund they gave us another room for the night. The whole 3 days both elevators were broken down and we were in the 11th floor. When we call reception no one answers no matter whether its morning noon or night. After all the trouble i faced they sent me an email apologizing with a complimentary soft drink from the bar. How ridiculous. My vacation was wasted and they offer me a soft drink this is obserd. Never ever again going to that hotel if there was a rating less than one i would give.
