Positive: Very clean
Negative: No refrigerator on the room
Positive: The location.
Negative: I didn’t like when they tried changing me for drinking a beer. when we didn’t even drink anything from their fridge. I think their fridge has a sensor and it detected when my husband put his energy drink in the fridge.
Positive: Center to everything
Positive: It was luxurious, quiet pricy. They do have a bar on site. Otherwise all others were ok.
Negative: The AC unit was lacking. We couldn’t sleep bc the AC temp was not as expected. I woke up multiple times due to it so hot. We were in the 30th floor so it was pretty hot there. We did get excellent views, otherwise the only convenient thing for me and my small group was the beds and coffee. There was no microwave and no fridge. The only fridge was the “refreshment” packed with alcohol and sparkling water.
Positive: Location is great.
Negative: The front desk check-in experience on June 5, 2025, was shockingly poor. I arrived around noon and declined the $50 early check-in option and the offer to join a membership program. I then provided my credit card for incidentals, only to be met with a surprise $400 hold. When I asked about the charge, the staff member said it was “around $150 per night” for incidentals. After all that, I simply asked for an update on my check-in status. Instead of a professional response, I was met with hostility: “Could you stop talking and let me explain to you? You refused the early check-in. You refused the membership. So, you don’t get preferential treatment.” I was told I’d be notified if the room was ready before 4 PM — unsurprisingly, no alert ever came. When I returned at 6:30 PM, a different staff member was polite but couldn’t easily confirm the $400 charge already on file. It took time to resolve. For reference: Room 1221, three-night stay. I hope Fairmont management tracks down the employee who interacted with me at noon — her behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. Management should consider recording check-in conversations to monitor staff conduct. I’ve never experienced such rudeness at any hotel. #CustomerServiceFail #FairmontHotels #HospitalityMatters #TravelExperience #HotelReview
Positive: Benjamin and all the luggage/concierge folks were super helpful and friendly. Also it’s pet friendly (for a substantial fee).
Negative: Expensive for what we got, room was kind of run down, the coffee mugs were rigged with a sensor in the mini bar?? front desk gave us a different final price every time we asked.
Positive: Good location. Nice lobby bar.
Negative: I was there for 1 night only. Cleaning staff entered my room twice in the morning, once while sleeping, once when in the shower. When I asked why they just entered, not even waiting for me to answer the knocking on the door, they answered: "we have the right do so". They supposedly have no information from front desk on whether a guests have checked out or not, so they just enter people's room, to check and ask them when they will be leaving. They couldn't care less, that I wasn't amused by this flagrant lack of professionalism and hospitality. Additionally, the bathroom was dirty: a bunch of hair in the shower and a dirty toilet. Front desk didn't seem to care too much about this. I rarely write bad reviews, but this hotel sure deserves one.
Positive: All the extra fees including fees to park. No direct access from a parking garage to the hotel. No walk up access to the hotel from a sub-street level
Positive: The hotel was accommodating and the staff was excellent, 100% recommend.
Positive: Location to the parks and attractions.
Negative: Was charged for an item from the room that I did not eat (m & m's for over $20!). Disputed it at check out and was told it would be taken off my bill....but discovered later that it had not! That was disappointing....
Positive: Great locaiton, wonderful people, beautiful room that was perfectly clean.
Negative: Nothing - terrific hotel.
Positive: Excellent location. Walking distance to the Bean and many nice restaurants. Would stay again there!
Negative: Floor instead of carpet would be a nice upgrade.
Positive: Location is good. Staffs and Parking are good and fast. Room are big. Breakfast is good and freshly cook per order.
Positive: Everything ! Definitely worth it
