From Girona-Costa Brava Airport
By Car: You can take the Nacional II toll-free motorway with a journey time of less than an hour covering 68.2 Km in distance.
If security is the most important, you can take the AP-7 tolled motorway. The journey time is about 40 minutes.
By Bus:There are direct buses from Girona-Costa Brava Airport to the Roses bus station (www.sagales.com).
From Barcelona
By Car: Taking the tolled AP-7 motorway you will cover 168 comfortable kilometres that will take you an hour and a half, approximately.
You can also take the toll-free C-17 motorway covering 189 kilometres with a journey time of a little over two hours.
Also, from Barcelona you have three options of public transport: bus, train or taxi:
By bus: There is a direct bus to Figueres with a bus company called Alsa (More information at www.alsa.es). On arrival in Figueres you need to change line to the Roses bus (buses www.sarfa.com).
By Train: The RENFE train service www.renfe.es has trains every 30 minutes approximately, with stops in “Sants” and “Plaça Catalunya”, in the centre of Barcelona. From there you can take a train to Figueres with a journey time of about 2 hours, approximately. Afterwards, in Figueres there are buses www.sarfa.com to Roses every 30 minutes approximately.
