Positive: close proximity to museums and transportation. bathroom modern and light-filled, good space for cosmetics. nice, helpful staff. spacious area to relax or eat at tables
Negative: faced a noisy street where tram ran, yelling from the street. room so small you couldn't pass each other freely with the bed being in the way. no outlet at little desk for lamp or coffee making. no dresser drawers. no fridge.

Negative: Uncomfortable beds. Very small room. No facilities at all. Too expensive for a room composed of three beda and a small bathroom.

Positive: The only thing that will make me reconsider the option to stay at the Espresso Hotel again is that fact that the Hotel did not offer breakfast. I prefer to start my day when I leave the hotel rather than start looking for a place to eat.

Positive: I like the reception tables and sitting area - a nice place to watch the street and people going about their lives. The Albert Heijn supermarket nearby was the best and largest one I visited in Amsterdam. I enjoyed our quad room - only one in the hotel. I just wished they would offer breakfast…
Negative: Front desk was sometimes moody and not so friendly.
