The Agenzia di Pollenzo is one of the main flagship of the Slow Food gastronomic movement and it lies in a 3 hectares park at the doorstep of "Langhe e Roero", two world-renowned areas for excellent wines (Barolo and Barbaresco) and food (White truffles and other local delicacies). The building was an ancient Savoy Royal Family property and since 1997 is protected by UNESCO as Human Heritage Site; it has within the first University of Gastronomic Sciences in the world, the unique "Banca del Vino" (The wine bank, a growing museum of the italian wines), a michelin starred restaurant ("Da Guido") and our hotel that can offer 47 confortable rooms, an informal and cosy restaurant preparing local recepes and serving local food with an extensive wine list, a quiet hall bar and for your moment of leisure an outdoor swimming pool, a small fitness room, a jacuzzi and a turkish bath. The cities of Alba, Bra or Turin are around the corner and the wonderful villages and hills of the shire will warmly surround you. The Golf Club Cherasco is only 1.5 Km away. Pets are welcome.
