This hotel was established on 30th March 1999 and underwent renovation in April 2006. Fully air-conditioned, the building comprises 23 storeys and welcomes its guests into a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe and a cloakroom. On-site facilities include lift access, a restaurant, a café and conference facilities with a capacity for between 15 and 200 people. WLAN Internet access is available (fees may apply) and room and laundry services are provided for a fee. Guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the car park, although fees apply.

It lies within 10 minutes of the Dianchi tour district and Yunnan folk village and guests will find a number of bus lines nearby, offering easy access to the city centre, which is some 10 minutes away. The local railway station and airport are both a 10-minute drive away.
