Positive: Loved the ambiance, no mass tourism, nice welcome area, lovely rooms (stayed downstairs).
Negative: Liked everything, no complaint. You may find it a bit further from downtown but with Uber or the local version Pickme you get so easily and quickly around. Tuktuks are also on Uber: super practical.
Positive: Very friendly staff who go extra mile to make your stay super pleasant. Quiet oasis in a busy city, a bit further from the city center but it’s really worth it. Very easily accessible by bus, tuk tuk or taxi. Totally recommend staying there - the rooms were very comfortable, spacious and clean.

Positive: It feels very homey, plus all the studf and Gamini are very accomodating. Max is also the calmest and cutest doggo ever!!!

Positive: The property is beautiful, the room is clean and comfortable. The staff is really nice and helpful. We ordered the local breakfast and it was delicious. It was a wonderful stay in Colombo.

Positive: Sayura House is a hidden garden of tranquillity in an otherwise busy city. The kind and friendly staff made us feel at home. We would love to come back. Every corner of the house felt thoughtfully designed, inviting relaxation and peace. It’s a perfect retreat for anyone seeking calm and comfort in the heart of the city.
Positive: Everything was perfect! Mr Ghama was extremely helpful and friendly. Never have I experienced such exceptional service before in my life. His attention to detail in making his guests comfortable went above and beyond anything I've ever seen!

Negative: There was much noise from the street. Train and cars make noise throughout the night. The bathroom was so small.

Positive: Sayura House is a must stay in Colombo! Very clean and beautiful space with lush greenery in the common area, there are seating areas in each hallway if you want to hang outside of the room, but there was plenty of space in my room. Gamini is very welcoming and hospitable, all of the staff is top notch! Dilshan and Vinod are really kind and helpful as well. All of that, plus the breakfast is delicious.
Negative: Not walkable to a lot of what I wanted to see, but not a big deal because it's a short drive away.
Positive: It is a an oasis in the busy city with excellent hospitality. I loved the courtyard garden and the rooftop area. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I would stay again.

Positive: Highlight of my stay was the staff who were incredibly warm and welcoming. They took the time to answer our numerous questions about Sri Lanka. The room was comfortable and the property was well shaded by a number of plants.
Positive: A proper oasis from the bustle of Colombo. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Lovely clean rooms and a smart rooftop restaurant serving very good Korean inspired food.
