The house, in which the hotel can be found, was built in the 16th century and has now been redesigned to lodge 18 comfortable rooms. It is decorated with the finest Spanish tile floors, giving it the graceful touch of Mexican contemporary style. The hotel lobby provides a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, cloakroom and currency exchange facilities. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room, there is WLAN Internet access available throughout the hotel and both a car park and garage, where guests can leave their vehicles. This historical hotel is located in the heart of the city, a few steps from the beautiful cathedral of Morelia. It is surrounded by restaurants, in the retail and tourism district of the city. Opposite the hotel is located the majestic ?Convento del Carmen', which acts today as the city's cultural centre. The zoological gardens and the ?Casa de Cultura' are both just a 5-minute drive from the hotel.
