Established as a shooting lodge in the Highlands in 1886, this family-friendly hotel was renovated in 2000, with the original lodge's features retained, and affords grounds covering around 1 square kilometre. There are a total of 45 rooms spread over 3 floors, with 35 new luxurious rooms. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk and a lift in addition to a bar a restaurant with 3 highchairs for infants and 2 conference rooms. There is a car park for those arriving at the hotel by car as well as a bicycle storage facility. Room service is available. Outdoor activities and bicycle hire can be arranged for guests with Activity Scotland, who are based nearby.
Heading north on the A 9, carry on past Pitlochry for approximately 14.5 km and turn left on to the B 847 Calvine road. Join the B 846 just outside Kiloch Rannoch. From the main square continue on the B 846 and the hotel is 1.6 km along on the right.
Most of the comfortable, spacious en suite rooms afford fabulous views out over the Highlands. Standard rooms are back facing. All of the rooms are attractively furnished and come with an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a double bed, a direct dial telephone and a TV. The heating is individually controlled.
Leisure options include a sauna and steam baths as well as an indoor pool surrounded by sun loungers. A gym is also available for guests' use. Aromatherapy massage treatments are also available. Within the area it is possible to try out various other sports including motor boating, canoeing, archery, table tennis, clay pigeon shooting and off-road driving (fees apply for all activities and massage treatments).

This country house lies on the shores of Loch Rannoch, amidst countryside typical of Scotland, which is filled with deep lakes, winding streams, lush green forests and overlooked by the mighty peak of Schiehallion. The centre of Kinloch Rannoch as well as a bus stop are to be found some 10 minutes walk away and it is around 30 minutes to a selection of bars, restaurants and shopping venues. A nightclub, train station and ski area with cross-country ski trails are to be found about 1 hour's drive away.
