Negative: The hotel isn't central. It's a bus ride from the city center, or a 15 minutes car ride. The building is a bit outdated. Breakfast could have better pastry

Negative: No Microwave in room and breakfast was rich and tasty staff at breakfast table was very caring. The only issue was that breakfast was same for all three days.
Positive: The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options to choose from. My vegetarian spouse absolutely enjoyed it as well. I was traveling with a toddler at the time, and our stay was completely hassle-free. The location is excellent and we could see Mount Pilatus and other stunning mountains right from our balcony.
Negative: I have no complaints about this hotel at all. If I had to mention one thing, it would be the elevator—it’s a bit too small.

Positive: The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and with everything you need. The hotel was easily accessible by public transportation.
Negative: A little bit noisy if you open the window because of the street just in front of the hotel.

Positive: My husband and I stayed 3 nights here. Good location with bus transportation across the street, we rented a vehicle so free parking is a must & this hotel had exceptional breakfast. Great amenities and a restaurant right downstairs. Employees were very helpful and professional.

Positive: We stayed at Hotel Felmis for 6 nights in September. Everything was wonderful: the room , food (Breakfast was included), location and the people of course . Patrick and the staff were very friendly and helpful, staff spoke good English for us and always with a smile. Also, there was a nice view to Mt. Pilatus from our room. Finally, it’s a great hotel for staying !!!

Positive: A small and pleasant hotel located in a pastoral village called: Horw, adjacent to Lucerne, less than fifteen minutes drive away. For those who do not have a car, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel entrance that goes to Lucerne's main station and is free for hotel guests. For car owners, the hotel offers free parking. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful, the rooms are relatively small, but well equipped, clean and comfortable. The shower and bathroom are spacious, and the beds in the room are comfortable. The breakfast is very good and varied. All in all, this is a very good value for the price.
Negative: The reception is only open until 20:00, and if you arrive later you need to inform the hotel in advance to receive a code that will allow you to take the key out of a box located at the entrance of the hotel. The hotel does not have a pool, spa, or gym.
Positive: Spotless room, comfortable bed, staff that went above and beyond, in-room fridge, wonderful included hotel breakfast (great selections), and delicious onsite restaurant with great food and service. Plus the FREE bus tickets to downtown Lucerne and back.
Negative: If I had to nitpick, the bedrooms and main hotel spaces were very overheated. We tried turning down the thermostat in our room, but to no avail. Kept waking up in a pile of sweat. Only thing that helped was keeping the windows open. They would also run out of croissants before 9 am every day. They were obviously a popular items and Felmis should have responded by ordering more croissants. We were twice disappointed during our three day stay.

Positive: Phenomenal hotel! The main draw here was the room with AC (proper wall unit) and a killer breakfast. Both delivered. We arrived in Luzern a bit early but needed to drop our bags. The front desk was more than happy to help us get checked in and said they would take our bags to our room. However, just a few minutes later they informed us our room was ready to go. So we were super happy to get settled in. After a good nights sleep due to the nice Air Conditioner, the included breakfast was one of the best we had overall in Switzerland. Everything you can imagine was available...cooked eggs and bacon, sliced meat, local cheese, veggies, several yogurts, lots of bread choices, self-service (great) coffee, desserts. They even had prosecco to make a mimosa (should you want to start your day out right!). The main compromise of the hotel is that you must take a bus to get between central Luzern and the hotel. Bus 21 drops right at the hotel. You can get it going either direction for about the same amount of time (requires a transfer in 1 direction). So it arrives about every 15 min. You will want to budget 20-30 min per trip depending on wait time. Additionally, the bus can take you to the S4/S5 train nearby to get to the start of Mt Pilatus. The bus runs late in the evening and fairly early in the morning. Some people may find this to be too much waiting around but we felt that this hotel is worth it, compared to the hot, noisy, just-as-expensive, no breakfast alternatives in the city. If you had a car, this hotel would an incredibly fantastic choice for the region.
Negative: The day we checked out, there was a broke down car on the bus route and we had to wait about 40 min to get one to go to Luzern main station. I doubt this is common but it does highlight that the bus experience is key to the hotel experience. Obviously the hotel had no involvement or connection with this.

Positive: Our room was super comfortable and spacious, it had AC that we could control ourselves. Nice shower, and beautiful area! Friendly staff and great breakfast! We were only there for one night but I would recommend!
Negative: Location was a little harder to get to from Lucerne than we thought, but it turned out to be fine! You can rent a scooter from the hotel and get to the water/ more restaurants pretty quickly! Although we expected to be more central to Lucerne, it was actually kind of nice for the end of our trip around Switzerland when we were craving a bit of quiet.
