Albergaria Mar Bravo is placed in Nazarý city centre, in its famous square, 5 m from the beach and 115 km from Lisbon International Airport.

Positive: The location and views, bedroom was spacious
Negative: The shower, the side “glass” door was to small and water all over the place

Negative: The place lacks charm but it is clean and provides basic necessities well.
Positive: Location. Sound proof windows. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent.
Negative: The scent of the linens, particularly the bedding. I am sensitive to scented detergent.
Positive: Excellent location on less busy end of the street along the beach, very clean, friendly & helpful staff, breakfast buffet with many choices, short distance to a nice little laundromat, & a few blocks walk to the funicular(highly recommended). The little balconies have a good side view across street to the water, not just a sliver like some “ocean view” ads. We would definitely stay here again. Nazaré was also interesting & not crowded at all. Maybe other times of year it might have more of a party vibe, but lovely this last week in May.

Positive: The room has a beautiful view and wonderful location. It is very close to the funicular to visit Sitio. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant had very good food. There was much to choose from for breakfast.
Negative: My husband and I drove a car into town. Please note that parking to check in to the hotel is a little difficult due to some construction.

Positive: Great place a short one night stay. Good views but mostly of the town square below, not as much of the ocean unless you upgrade to a suite.
Negative: The parking garage isn’t on property so you have to walk back and forth to the car (less than 10 min walk) if you park. They notified us prior to arrival though.

Negative: Only issue is parking and checkin. The parking spot for checkin is roped off so it was not clear where we could park. We did not realize we were expected to move the rope. A police officer was monitoring parking and would not let us stay long enough to checkin. Obviously not the hotel’s fault, but perhaps better instructions regarding the one parking spot would help. Also when we were leaving, a work van was occupying that spot. The parking for the hotel is located a few blocks away at another hotel. A bit stressful and confusing.
Positive: We got there in the power outage and they transferred us to their other property. It was so smooth. This is a well run hotel. Highly recommend it.
