With our residential complex and 28 acre campsite there is accommodation to suit every need and budget. All rooms come with TV, tea/coffee making facilities, easy chairs and desks. Situated just 2.5 miles from Nottingham City Centre with great transportation links via train, A1, M1 and East Midlands Airport the National Water Sports Centre is ideal for any function or event.Facilities include a 2000m Regatta Lake, Man-made Slalom White Water Course, Restaurant, 5 Conference Rooms, Sports Hall, Gym, On-Site Corporate Events Team and Public and Private Bar. Water activities include; White Water Rafting, Water Skiing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Sailing and a selection of Water Courses. Land activities include; Adventure Assault Course.
A continental breakfast is offered. Lunch and dinner are both served as a buffet.
The rooms are very functional, clean, light and airy. All come with an en suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, a TV, Internet access and individually regulated heating. There is also a booklet provided, giving information on the attractions and amenities available both on site as well as in the local area.
All hotel customers have free access to the Harpers Fitness Suite which is situated in the main building (subject to availability). A 2000 m regatta lake, 700 m slalom course, and an adventure activity area also feature. Guests enjoy a 10% discount on all activities offered. These include banana boating, motor boating, wind surfing, kayaking, canoeing, white water rafting, water skiing, sailing, basketball, badminton and table tennis. Entertainment and activity programmes for both young and old are also provided for a fee. The nearest golf course is a 15-minute walk away.

How to arrive
This hotel is ideally situated for any kind of visit to Nottingham, and is just 5 km away from Nottingham City Centre and the train station. Shopping opportunities and nightspots can be found about a 20-minute walk away. There is a bus stop just outside the main gate, offering quick and easy access to the town centre, as well as many other local tourist attractions. The hotel is also only 25 km from East Midlands Airport.
By car: From the south, turn off at junction 24 on the M1, taking the A453 to Nottingham and then the A52 to Grantham. Follow signs to the National Water Sports Centre. It is also possible to turn off at junction 21A, and use the A46. From the north, turn off at junction 26 on the M1, taking the A610 and then the A52 to Grantham. Follow the signs to the National Water Sports Centre.
