Positive: The location was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Negative: I know the building is old, but the climb up to the room was a little treacherous. The stairs were uneven and we almost tripped a couple times. Inside the room, it smelled a little musty, but opening the windows helped. The bed was pretty hard and somewhat uncomfortable. The shower and the shower doors were strange and made it a little uncomfortable. There was no shelf inside the shower to put your soap, etc. The bathroom was small and lacked storage for toiletries, etc. All the mini bar items were for sale and nothing was complementary.
Positive: The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city! However, there is a small drawback: a restaurant on the ground floor creates a bit of noise until it closes, but it's not too bothersome.
Negative: The hotel offers open WIFI for guests, making it easy to connect without a password. While this is convenient, it does come with security risks, like the possibility of hackers intercepting data. That's why we decided to use HotSpot on our phone.
Positive: Close proximity to attractions. In old town Nuremberg
Negative: It was great
Positive: Beautiful location along the river. Liked being near the old picturesque bridges
Negative: The mattress was a bit too firm for my liking
Positive: Cute old building with friendly staff
Negative: They direct to public parking (but then give you a discounted rate for 24h) which isn’t the worst thing but is a bit inconvenient if you need stuff from your car after the fact
Positive: Hotel was in a great location, central to all the hot spots in Nuremberg.
Negative: The sheets were stiff
Positive: location was great.
Negative: Room could have been bigger and parking garage was a little tight
Positive: This hotel is cute and was in a perfect location to walk to the Christmas Market and all around Nuremberg. The staff was very friendly and the room was good sized.
Negative: The bathroom smelt like sewage. It smelt of chemicals when we first got in but as that wore off the bathroom did not smell good. We opened the window in there and that seemed to make it better. But then the bathroom was pretty cold (even with the heat on). Also it would have been great if they had a smart TV in the room. Then we could have casted our own apps to watch TV in our language. It was hard to wind down in the evening with a movie when I could not understand any of the language on the TV in the room
Positive: Great Central location to the Christmas Markets. We took a taxi from the train station less than 20.00. there is not a breakfast option at the hotel and they do not have a lift. All waking to Markets within 15mins. A bit longer if you want to to visit the castle, but overall it was a nice historic hotel.
Negative: Not recommended to take luggage from the train station as the roads are hard to pull luggage over. When we checked in, the attendant took our bags to our room, very helpful. (this might have been a fluke as the other attendants were all women)
Positive: Location to the Christmas Markets
Negative: Being on the third floor and carrying too heavy suitcases up and down the steps did not like that. No elevator on property.
Positive: Location IS everything. This stay is a cute hotel room and offers the usual amenities. Very cozy and contemporary. Helpful staff were present all day. It was very fun to be living right above a local restaurant.
Negative: Lots of steps if you have a bad knee or immobile.
Positive: The place was immaculate, the staff very attentative and the location optimal…all for a very reasonable rate.😀
Positive: The room was beautiful and authentic with huge windows overlooking the small square. Kind staff. Quiet in the evenings. Very close to main square.
Negative: We were redirected to a nearby parking due to roadworks. But it would have been nice to let us know in advance so we don't into the roadworks in the square.
Positive: The location was in a quiet area but still central to many places. The room and bed were comfortable and the staff personalized a welcome message on a chalkboard in my room. The price was also excellent.
