A large marble lobby sets the tone. Majestic columns and mirrors define the interiors while the exterior is dominated by a concrete façade. The Starhotels Tourist is situated in the business district in the north-east of Milan, close to the
Teatro degli Arcimboldi. The hotel is well-connected to the centre of town and just 3 kilometres from the motorway exits in the direction of Monza, close to the slip road to the Tangenziale Est.
The 134 rooms have oak flooring or colourful striped carpets. The contemporary, linear furniture is in teak. The bathrooms, in sand-coloured stone with occasional moka cadences, have wide tops in hazlenut travertino marble.
Going to the new “La Cuccagnina” restaurant is in itself an extraordinary experience. A sand-coloured stone strip in the parquet flooring signals the way and the effect is reinforced by the shape of the ceiling which creates a continuous line of light running parallel to the “guide-strip”. Made of glass lit
from behind and light stone, the impressive buffet bar in the middle of the restaurant is the main design element in the hall. The rosewood boiserie, the banquette seating and the chairs are rigorously black and modern. Filaments of
fabric take the place of curtains and filter the natural light from the French windows.
For business clientele there are 7 conference rooms seating from 32 to 130 people each, with an overall capacity of 350. The area consists of modular halls separated by a spacious foyer.

Positive: Very clean and comfortable hotel. Metro station in front of the hotel without creepy people in the area. Great value for money. Very comfortable beds in a spacious room. Good breakfast.
Negative: No charging points near the bed which isn't a big deal.
Positive: The location is good, metro station is right outside the hotel area. Breakfast was great.
Negative: We took the "classic" room. The room was old and equipped quite poorly for the money. We requested breakfast box for out last morning of the stay, since we needed to leave very early. The box was a joke, honestly, especially for the money we paid for it.
Positive: Everything was great
Positive: Probably the best bed and pillows we had in any trip we've ever made. Room size was adequate, bathroom was good and the whole experience was comfortable. The parking spot is inside the property, secured by an automatic gate and watched over 24/7, so that was good. Also, they let us leave the car even after we had checked out, which was great because we had a late night flight back home. The location is perfect, just in front of the entrance to the subway, in a line that quickly leads to the Duomo.
Negative: Staff was slightly rude when we asked for the crib in the reception. We had already asked for it when we booked, but it wasn't there when we arrived. When we requested it to the employee, he wasn't super happy about it and made it rather clear.

Negative: Bad smell in the room. The location is far from the city center, but is next the metro station so this is not a problem.They could put a complemetary bottle of water. Charge the room with extra 3-5 euros but put some free water there. It gives you a good felling that you’re not charged for everything.

Negative: Check your payments ... Find surprises. You need to know- 15 euro for day of parking. Blocking money on my card without my approval (left there 3 days ago and it is still blocked!!!!). Mistakes in charges causing putting us in embarrassed situation. Will not return there.
Positive: Metro is just right in front of the hotel. Room was clean. Staff were friendly
Negative: The thermostat in the room cannot be adjusted, it was very hot during our stay, and we had to open the windows while sleeping and it wasnt a good idea considering the air quality in milan is very poor. One of our friends got sick after. Breakfast is kinda boring after the 3rd day because you will get the same food everyday, and lacks of healthy option.
Positive: It was fairly clean
Negative: The rooms are awfully small. If you have two suitcases this is not the place for you. The neighbor is quite dirty. I asked to borrow a fork and a knife and I was asked to give some money as deposit, which is pretty lame for a 4 star hotel. I’m not talking about golden silverware but two 1.99 tools. Oh, by the way, if you are not a guest the parking rate is 10 €/day if instead you are a hotel guest they treat you with a 15€ parking rate. Thank you, that’s just what I expected from a 4 star hotel.

Negative: The pillow is not comfortable and the bed for couple should be matrimonial i requested the king size bed but they gave us combines single bed , There is another close door in our room 608 and the noise behind that door is disturbing
Positive: It was our first time in this hotel. It was wonderful experience. The hotel staff, cleanliness, comfort is well above expectations. Plus the location is super, just right across the metro station and the parking space was really great.
