Negative: Very small lift
Positive: Close to Roma Tremini, about 15 min walk. Lots of cafes/restaurants in the area. Fabio at the front desk was friendly and recommended a great restaurant close by. Room was clean and adequate for my needs. Had a fridge and a smart TV. Shower was a bit cramped but the water was hot.

Positive: The personnel is really friendly and helpful. The room was ok. The beds were really comfortable! And the location was great, with nice trattorias, cafes. Very close to the historic center but quiet and not touristic.

Negative: Can improve on the breakfast menu. There are very few choices of food. I hope they can add sausages, ham or more meat in the breakfast menu.
Positive: I was a bit skeptical about this place after reading some reviews. After spending one week at Hotel Medici, I can only advise to ignore the negative comments. The hotel is beautiful, great location, tastefully decorated and the elevator is a work of art. The mattress is one of the best I've ever tried, slept like a baby. The rooms are extremely clean. As for the size- I booked a single room. Despite some comments, I found the size of the room to be more than appropriate. Same applies for the shower - it even has a small "bench" inside. As a bigger than average person, I fit in comfortably. The room has everything you might need, from extra pillows to a mini bar. Wi-Fi works perfectly. Now, the staff - absolutely lovely people (and the cleaning lady is the sweetest). I get that some people might expect more chit-chat and smiles. The staff at Medici is different, in the best way possible. They are polite, without being intrusive. They stay out of your way unless prompted to help, in which case you are met with a smile and a fast resolution. I found the staff to be not only amazing, but very "in tune" with the hotel. They have a quiet elegance and dignity, almost like in a period movie. Last - location. You must try the pasticeria on the right of the hotel. Thank me later. There are some good restaurants, one right across from the hotel. Train station is close, and there are like 3 supermarkets in a 5 minute walking distance. For Rome standards, the major tourist attractions are close - I walked all the way to Vatican and back, which is the farthest away. Make sure to visit Villa Borguese, it's super close and the attached parc is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. Big thank you to Hotel Medici for an amazing stay.
