This is a good standard hotel with an excellent location in the heart of Stockholm. The hotel is also part of the Stockholm City Conference Centre which has two further buildings apart from the hotel called Norra Latin and Folkets Huset. Between them the company can accommodate anywhere from 10 to 1400 delegates.
The hotel's dining and social congregation areas are located in a large open planned space that also incorporates the reception and lobby. The space has few boundary lines making it an airy, light and colourful environment to enjoy the breakfast buffet while during the rest of the day it is possible to order stylish and contemporary dishes or just simple and traditional bar snacks.
The hotel is housed in a former office block designed by one of Sweden's most distinguished architects, Sven Markelius. He designed the hotel as an English inspired experimental house with a rough glass facade in the 1950s.
The double rooms range from small to medium in size, however the single rooms are quite small. Most of the single rooms are located on the top floor and have leaning ceilings and deep windowsill, while the double rooms are well proportioned and located on lower floors. Both room types are smartly decorated in a classic style with a contemporary twist with simple lines, light wood floors, and soothing colours. The bathrooms are small but functional and simply decorated in off-white.
