At this destination there is a local tourist tax and municipal tax not included in the price per person and night that you have to pay directly at the hotel.
Positive: The hotel had the PERFECT location, literally a few steps away from the main pedestrian street in town. Located otherwise great vis-a-vis restaurants and not so far from the main bus stop (an under 10 minute walk). We also liked the staff, most of them were very friendly and the breakfast area + breakfast were ample with a lot of options.
Negative: The rooms are a little bit outdated ALTHOUGH very clean and well maintained. They need to get new furniture, spruce up the bathroom a bit just to make it a bit more modern/updated/new.
Positive: The location is convenient to the town center and a 10 minute walk to the cable car.
Negative: The property is a little dated. The room was comfortable and adequate for our needs but I don’t get the European idea that a queen bed is two twins pushed together and made up as one bed. The gap is annoying. This is not unique to this hotel so not a ding specific to Centrale.
Positive: Breakfast was sufficient to start the day. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Location was just perfect for my purpose - running the UTMB race that started in Courmayer.

Positive: The place is very quaint, the staff were very helpful, the location was very convenient, the breakfast was great! We liked observing the people who were hanging out in the many lobbies and common areas.
Negative: The room was a lot more basic than we expected. The bed was very uncomfortable. They retained our passports until we left, which we didn't love.
