The Economy hotel is situated in the centre of Athens, just behind the town hall, only 200 metres away from Omonia square and the undergound station, which provides a quick and easy connection with the ancient Plaka area and with the city's most important sites and attractions. The property is a majestic building, modernly furnished and featuring a wonderful rooftop terrace where, during the warmer months, you can enjoy the fantastic view over the Acropolis and Lycabetus hill, or sit back and relax with a drink. At the reception desk it is possible to make different kinds of bookings, from airport transfers to reservations for restaurants, museums, guided tours and much more.
The hotel has a medium size restaurant used only for breakfast. For lunch and dinners clients can choose from a large selection of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines, situated within walking distance of the hotel.
All rooms were fully refurbished in 2003, they are medium in size and simply but pleasantly decorated, all have private bathroom, TV, soundproof windows, direct dial telephone, small balcony and refrigerator.All rooms are air-conditioned.
