1 King West was originally built in 1914 as the Dominion Bank of Canada.
Constructed in the year 1912, the hotel was renovated in 2005 and comprises a total of 500 rooms set over 51 floors. Facilities within the fully air-conditioned building include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, safes, cloakroom, currency exchange facility, and seven lifts. Culinary options take the form of a café, two bars, and two air-conditioned restaurants serving gastronomic specialities of the region. Business guests may take advantage of the conference rooms, while all visitors can profit from the Internet connection with W-LAN access point.
