Negative: The hostel is quite noisy, you can hear a lot of the noises from the street and the karaoke bar below and also the stairs of the hostel itself. There was no window to our room

Positive: A Easier to get to and less noise and hot water would be a big help. I didn't have any hot water at all for showers. Had to go upstairs to get to the place. Poor ventilation in the room. The only window was the two and open hallway not the outside of the building

Negative: The floor of the room is dirty. You can find disgusting blood stains on the curtains that are over your head while you sleep. Thin walls - you hear the noise from other rooms and the street. No hot water when we visited. recommended.

Negative: Limited common room, no shared kitchen so this probably isn't the best hostel to meet other travelers. That being said, if your plan is to just rest a few days, see the city, and eat cheap tasty meals outside this is perfect.
Positive: Staff was very nice and helpful. Location is excellent. My room did not face the street so it was quiet. There is hot water but it takes a while. I thought it was amazing that they will do a load of laundry for you, free, although most of my socks disappeared but I still appreciated it I also appreciated the filtered water.
Negative: The rooms are dark and dreary. No natural light, no fresh air. The mattress was borderline ok but the pillows were the worst.
Positive: it’s a very good price and in an excellent location. Netflix on the TV was great as well. had laundry available for free.
Negative: the floor boards were very loud and I could hear the laundry machine outside my door very loudly all day. for me the shower was cold. the bed was also very low on the ground, so it hurt my neck to try and look up at the television. there was also no social vibe or area to meet people. These were minor things that do not take away from the great value of the hostel.

Negative: I expected more from reading the reviews. The overall experience was just average. Room was with no windows and the interior of the building was cluttered with stuff. Small hostel in general. No free space inside the hostel to do other activities. You need to use stairs to reach the rooms.
Positive: Perfectly located in the historical district of Cuenca. Lots of small restaurants right nearby. The room was small and real simple. Had a private bathroom. As long as you turned on the water for the shower and waited for a few minutes it really warmed up. Clean enough for my kind of travel. The staff was always friendly and helpful.
