Updating availability and prices
During ancient times there were five castles on the island of Santorini
The castle in Pyrgos, or Kasteli as it is called by the locals, was the last and strongest because of its location
Kastro Mansion is an undevided part of its history as “Zeus” suite hosted the coffee house (kafenio in Greek), where the aristocracy used to gather to discuss and exchange opinions regarding the issues of the island
Built in the square of “the top coffee house” (“psilos kafenes” as it was called) which was located right in front of the only -during the ancient times- entrance to the castle, offered undoubtedly a location of high importance
Fully rebuilt today, as parts of the initial building suffered serious damages during the earthquake and were then demolished, offered panoramic view of the island from its carefully placed windows, allowing them to check the coastline for possible invasions
