This country house was the first to dedicate itself to tourism in the Azores and is the result of a careful project to convert an old palatial manor house into a tourist facility. It is surrounded by lush gardens and a picturesque lake which combine to offer tranquillity and a truly domestic atmosphere.
It comprises a total of 16 rooms. Guests can enjoy a drink at the bar and start their day in the breakfast room. There is also a car park for those arriving by car. A continental breakfast is served at the country house.
All rooms are decorated with a mixture of charm, character and all modern comforts. All rooms are en suite with a shower, bath and a hairdryer. Additional features include a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV as well as a minibar. Air conditioning is a standard feature of all accommodation.
Guests can enjoy a refreshing dip at the country house's outdoor swimming pool or enjoy a game of tennis. The nearby beaches in Angra do Heroismo are sandy as well as both pebble and rocky.

How to arrive
With a privileged location, the country house is situated approximately 3 km from the town of Angra do Heroísmo, which since 1983 has been classified as a World Heritage City by UNESCO. Praia da Vitória and the harbour are both roughly 25 km from the country house. The airport is around 21 km away, which is approximately a 20-minute drive.
