The Hotel Alcázar de la Reina, a Mudéjar style building, has the best location to discover the real Andalucía. In front of the Hotel, a ´balcony´ overlooking the stunning fertile lowland of Carmona, a landscape that invites you to the rest. The Hotel Alcázar de la Reina, ancient fortress, was witness to the particular love story between Alfonso XI and his mistress, Leonor de Guzmán. The son of this King, Pedro I “The Cruel one” also set their primary residence in Carmona, actual Alcazar del Rey Don Pedro. After the death of Alfonso XI, Leonor de Guzman was captured by Pedro I and sent to serve sentence in the “Alcázar de la Puerta de Córdoba” (now Alcázar de la Reina) for being the cause of family discord.

Take the motorway IV to Córdoba-Madrid. Take the exit Carmona-Marchena. Leave the ´´Puerta de Córdoba´´ on your right and go straight to the hotel.
