Positive: The location was great, the staff were friendly parking was easy
Positive: reception on arrival, beautiful motel, limited rooms, close to beach, staff went the extra mile to accommodate us
Positive: Can step outside and the beach is practically right there; close to the cafes/restaurants

Positive: Location was excellent. The king bed was good. We enjoyed the ground floor garden location was easy for parking and to load luggage. The shower pressure was nice. The decor was fine but the room was rough around the edges. The unused front bar area was bizarre. The hotel had a quirky vibe but felt third world.
Negative: The shower curtain kept hitting our legs while we were in the shower. At the base of walls where it met the floor was tatty. The front taped off bar area was bizarre. That should be the front desk area. The hotel needs work. It’s relying on its excellent location. It could be interesting art deco but needs some help.
Positive: Had to change the booking date 1st via Booking.com but no matter the date that I entered said no available rooms. I called the property and changed the date and all was ok they only wanted to virtual card to be valid. However when we arrived no room no change to booking Jo at reception said that someone had checked us in & out on the original date and not rebooked us. The property could not care at all and did nothing to help us.
Negative: Customer service - If a Hotel property staff person can not do a simple change of booking date what chance do we have. Worst Hotel experience that I have ever had. Booking.com needs to rethink having this property on its site.

Negative: Have very minimum staff. We stayed for 7 nights but didn't get any room services. We felt embarrassed to request the service because the staff were far too busy.
Positive: Breakfast not included.
Negative: There was no room service. We had to ask for clean towels and more teabags for our room (but the staff was happy to supply these). At the end of our stay the rubbish bin was overflowing and we had to find a plastic bag to hold the overflow.
Positive: The staff went above and beyond to help us and make our stay comfortable and even with a sick bub we loved staying here, the hotel is beautiful in a perfect location and I can't thank the beautiful team enough for their care and kindness ❤️
Positive: Initial room was not the room we had booked, and was not acceptable (no storage, TV hard to view, no seating) after discussions with the Manager (after 3 days, wife said put up with it, lol) we were allocated the room we had booked, (ground floor with garden court yard). This room was far and above better than the previous one. very comfortable, mirrored wardrobe space (fit for a 20 day stay) TV well positioned and additional seating. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Negative: Swimming pool on the roof has no shade, some shaded areas would make it more enjoyable. Parking was hit and miss only 8 parking places on site. Rooms were not serviced with any regularity, had to ask to have room made up, sheets were not changed unless you requested it along with clean towels, as a result sheets were only changed once in 17 days. Was not made aware that the rooms were un serviced when room was booked.
