The front of the hotel is part of the historic street frontage on Cuba street. The hotel room floors are set back from the street front and in steel and glass. There is a sun deck on the lower level with seating.
In order to get to the hotel, guests should head north from the airport, following the signs to the city. After going through Mt Victoria tunnel, go around the Basin Reserve and take the 'City Centre' exit onto Buckle Street. Continue on the new bypass through 2 sets of traffic lights (Buckle Street leads on Arthur Street). At the third set of traffic lights turn right onto Cuba Street. Continue up Cuba Street to the first set of lights and turn right onto Vivian Street. Turn in to Dunlop Terrace (the very next street on the right), and the hotel is there.
Large rooms approximately 35 Square metres. The hotel opened in January 2008 so all the rooms have brand new fittings. Twin rooms are two Queen size beds. Good size bathrooms again with brand new fittings. LCD television and kitchenette area. Plain decor with brown sofa and chairs. Good luggage storage and wardrobe space. Tea and coffee facilities, iron and ironing board. Triple and quad is based on 2x queen beds.

2 km to the nearest fair site (wellington convention centre)
The hotel is within walking distance of the central business district, the Harbour, Te Papa (National Museum) and all of Wellington's major attractions. It is situated in the Cuba Quarter of Wellington and surrounded by restaurants and cafés. It is also close to the entertainment precinct of Courtenay Place. Wellington Train Station is about 3 km away and Wellington International Airport is approximately 8 km from the hotel.
