At this destination there is a local tourist tax and municipal tax not included in the price per person and night that you have to pay directly at the hotel.
Positive: We liked the night attendant who was very attentive despite limited English. We arrived late and had a 7AM ferry to catch. The hotel is centrally located (5 min from the port) but the street can get noisy.
Negative: It is an older building. Outdated rooms and showers. We asked for an extra blanket and were told we will be charged for it. But when they realized we paid for 2 rooms, they gave it to us. We needed to leave early and asked for a breakfast to go (included in the rate), or, at least, coffee and croissant since this was an early departure. We were refused right away. They also charged us for a bottle of water and some other expenses that we could not argue since we were in the hurry to catch an early ferry.
Positive: Good location with lots of free street parking around. Relatively quiet location as well with a nice breakfast in the morning. Bed was comfortable enough and bathroom was a good size. The room is nothing fancy but has enough space, storage, and comfort with glasses to drink from and a small fridge. Amazing walking distance to the center and the beach. Friendly staff and seems to be a family run location.
Negative: Lighting in the room is harsh blue/cool bulbs that feel a bit like being in a hospital. Air conditioning in the room didn't seem to work. It wasn't super hot yet but overnight we had to open the windows to let air in since the AC didn't turn on. I notice some hotels turn them off centrally early in the season so maybe that's why. Also the key for our room was very sticky and took work to get it to open.
Positive: Location, location, location - the best thing about this property!!! You are a 4 minute walk from the center where all the restaurants, bars, and shopping is located. Another 10 minute walk and you will be on the beautiful OVERCROWDED beach, Rena Bianca. The entire hotel and rooms were extremely clean. The rooms are on the smaller side and the shower and bathroom are really small. If you are a bigger/tall person, you will have some trouble in the shower. The rooms definitely need to be updated and have more power outlets to charge your devices. Good value for your money!
Negative: The only thing I did not like about this hotel was not having their own private parking lot or free charging stations for your rental car. You have to find parking on the street somewhere, where it is very tight and hard to find a spot to park. Breakfast was not the best - typical continental breakfast.

Positive: Perfect location to walk to the ferry! I took the 7am ferry to Corisca. Just perfect location for that. Beer upon late arrival, very early morning coffee and great staff/team. My room had a balcony!
