The majestic country house offering comfortable Victorian lounges for enjoying afternoon tea or to sit and relax in front of the hotel log fire. The lounges have views of the private lawns and on a clear day visibility strectched to the Solway coastline. There is also leisure facilites for the guests to take advantage of. The hotel lounge and cocktail bar, with their wonderful views over the lawns to the Solway and beyond, are perfect for an aperitif, and in the cooler winter months, guests can relax by a roaring log fire with a warming coffee and liqueor. A selection of menus is available at the hotel that highlight the growing reputation for fine Scottish cuisine. Table d'Hote and Lounge menus are served in the tranquil Copper Beech restaurant, using only the freshest locally sourced produce. The Lounge menu is available throughout the day for more informal dining, and Mary's room, the private dining room, is ideal for business lunches or smaller celebrations.
All en-suite rooms are non-smoking with twin or double beds and are equipped with satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilties and Wifi.
A heated swimming pool, sauna and fully equipped gym are situated in the Swiss Chalet style leisure complex. The landscaped gardens provide ample opportunity for a gentle stroll taking in the glorious views. There is also an outdoor childrens play area, and Table Tennis (on request) and various games can be provided for the smaller members of your party if the weather is not too good.
