How to arrive
This hotel is located on Southport Old Road just off the A565, a 10-minute drive from stylish Southport and 20 minutes from Liverpool, the European Capital of Culture 2008. It lies just 500 m from the nearest links to the public transport network and guests will find nightspots 800 m away and restaurants, bars and shops roughly 2 km away in Formby. It is around 3 km to the sea and the beach, around 9.6 km to Hesketh Park, around 12.8 km to Aintree Racecourse, around 48 km to Preston and around 64 km to Chester and Blackpool. Liverpool John Lennon and Manchester International airports are approximately 40 to 60 minutes away.
Guests arriving by car should leave the M62 at Junction 6 and follow the signs for the M57 (signposted Southport). Stay on the M57 until reaching the end. At the end of the motorway, stay in the middle lane and follow the signs for the A5036 (signposted Bootle and Docks). Once on the A5036, move into the right-hand lane and take the first right onto the A5207, Northern Perimeter Road (signposted Southport and Formby). At the next set of traffic lights, go straight ahead. At the 2nd set of lights turn right (signposted Formby) and follow the road (which becomes a dual carriageway). At the 2nd roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Southport Old Road.
