Positive: Nice location and friendly staff. Very comfortable room.
Positive: Rooms were clean and well appointed. All staff was friendly and cooperative. Breakfast buffet was delicious. My American family and my German family were treated very well. Lobby and lounge were beautifully decorated for the holiday. Location was perfect for Christmas markets, restaurants, and trains.

Negative: It was August and rather warm but the AC was unavailable to use (outside temperature was not quite at the limit set by the hotel for AC use). I was forced to sleep with windows open. The street below was incredibly noisy until about 3:00 in the morning. So my options were to be too warm to sleep with lower noise level or have window open w cool air and too much noise to sleep well. It was very frustrating and I was very tired the next day.
